I have had the opportunity to find out what happens when a person who is hopelessly addicted to the Internet has to go without for more than a month. Let me tell you, it was not pretty.

I finished (just barely) my Mortal Moon Fest fic. I even had time to get it properly beta'ed, although I then went and changed a bunch of things so I'm guessing it's full of mistakes again now. *sigh*

It's only 20,492 words. The first draft was over 50,000 words, and was almost entirely from Remus' point of view as he searched for Harry.

Then my computer died. When I finally (weeks later) was able to get all my files (the computer was a loss though) the story, which had been so fun to write, turned out to, well... really suck. It's now from Harry's point of view, doesn't exactly match the challenge, and is much shorter.

Such is life.

Once it appears in the archive, you can find it under Worth Waiting For.

It's that time again. The Mortal Moon Fest has launched Wave 4!

I have selected the following challenge:

78. Remus mates with Harry, thinking he is willing. Afterwards, Harry disappears. Remus will do anything to get his mate back. (Cara)

Now I'm off to plot out the fic! My goal for myself is to actually finish this one before the day-before-deadline. We'll see if I can do it.

If you aren't part of the SiriusXJames group... you should be!

The Inseparable SB/JP Fest has officially started, with 125 challenges available for the taking.

I'm still deciding which challenge to take... but will definitely write something.

I know I'm a witch for taking so long to get this thing ready to be posted. There was more editing than I thought there would be, which just proves I have a lot to learn, still!

Here it is. It starts up directly where the previous part left off.

PAIRING: James/Sirius, Remus/Snape, Harry/Draco, mention of past James/Lily

LENGTH: 10152 words
FEEDBACK: Tear it apart if you wish, I welcome all feedback and constructive reviews are very welcome.
NOTE: This is a sequel to my reply to the December 14 drabble challenge of the SiriusXJames group.

Ack! Oh, I hate the Internet!

I just found out I have a ton of emails that I hadn't seen, because they were being filtered into a folder I don't even remember setting up!

Good grief. :-(

Finished sequel. Over 10,000 words. I think maybe it's a bit too long and not enough happens. And I didn't manage to fit some things in that I wanted to. But... it's finished. I'm always so happy when I manage to actually finish something.

Now for the hard part. Editing. Spellcheck, grammar check, content check, continuity check... I feel a bit faint.

I'm working on a sequel to A Night Alone. I just experienced the worst case of writer's block I've ever had. The story just stopped, and every word after that was like pulling teeth. I think I got past it, but it was really awful.

All Harry's fault. I meant for all four of the boys to have a nice fluffy Christmas, but Harry threw a hissy fit. Stupid boy. Then Remus started acting up. My whole plot (which I had painstakenly outlined before writing a single word) went straight to hell.

Hey, is anyone willing to beta this for me when I'm done? Or maybe give me a great big shove so I can get it finished?

I appear to have found another pairing I can write. Sirius/James of all things. I've been afraid to try it since I thought it would turn into a disaster like my Sirius/Remus attempts.

Maybe it is a disaster. Until someone reviews I won't know.

I didn't see any rules that said the drabble responses (to the SiriusXJames groups' December Drabble Challenges) couldn't be posted elsewhere, so, here we go:

TITLE: A Night Alone

WARNINGS: Resurrection, a few swear words
